Er studierte Funktechnik an der Süd-Ural State University und leistete seinen Militär-Dienst in der sowjetischen Armee in der Nähe von Wladiwostok in den späten 1980er Jahren. Mit der Fotografie begann er im Jahr 1999. Er ist Autodidakt und hat vorher keine Kamera in der Hand gehalten. Seine Bilder entstehen analog im Mittelformat mit einer Hasselblad 503CW und Objektiven von Carl Zeiss. Dieser Technik will er trotz der digitalen Vielfalt weiterhin treu bleiben, weil sie aufgrund ihres Gewichtes eine ruhige Herangehensweise an die Photographie erfordert. Künstlerisch hat er zwei Schwerpunkte: Landschaftsfotografie und künstlerische Aktfotografie. Akt in der Natur und in Verbindung mit Industrietechnik sind gerne gewählte Motive neben einigen Studioaufnahmen. Insbesondere bei der erotischen Photographie ist die Arbeitsweise wichtig, um stilvolle Ergebnisse zu erzielen. So setzt er im Außenbereich weitere Blitze ein oder arbeitet mit Impulslicht, um seine gewünschten Effekte zu erreichen. Nicht Photoshop ist sein Gestaltungsmittel, sondern das perfekte Wissen und Beherrschen der Lichtsituation. Codice articolo 65020

Twenty-two people, besides the author, took part in the creation of photos for this book. In chronological order of appearance of the first frame, they are: Tanya, Ira, Julia,  Inga,  Olya, Natalya, Olga, Natasha, Dasha, Sveta, Oksana, Masha, Svetlana, Vika, Natalya, Lena, Olya,  Viktorya, Tatyana, Jenya, Zemphira, Olya. Most of them posed just for this book, and you will not find their photographs done by other photographers.

L'autore:

Igor Amelkowitsch lives and works in Chelyabinsk, in the south of the Ural Mountains in the Soviet Union. He graduated from the Chelyabinsk Institute of Applied Sciences with a degree in radio engineering. From 1985 to 1987 he did his military service in the Soviet army, posted near Vladivostok on the Pacific coast by the Chinese border. He used his diverse musical talents, touring from 1988-89 with Art, the rock group, through many cities at home. He is married to Tanya and their daughter Alyona was born in 1993. Igor only began to take photographs seriously in 1999, first with a Nikon F-60. In 2002 he changed to a Hasselblad 503CW and medium format photography.
