M&B Books is a partnership between an experienced part-time dealer and an enthusiastic relative newcomer, who has been selling now for six years, both based in South London, England. Mick McLean has been selling collectable books at markets and Book Fairs in the UK since 1983. Mick sells mainly Modern First Editions with a crime and mystery focus reflecting his own collecting interests. Authors in which he has special knowledge include Len Deighton, Mick Herron, John Le Carre, Simon Scarrow, Ben Aaronovitch, Gavin Lyall, Christopher Fowler's Bryant & May books series, Sue Grafton's complete set of the Alphabet novels and Herge's Tin Tin series. Mick's depth of experience is complemented by Peter Belchamber, who brings analysis and zeal to book collection and dealing. Peter has wide-ranging interests including thriller writers, espionage and adventure stories from the 1920s to the present day. He specialises in complete sets of first editions, by authors such as Patrick O'Brian, Anthony Powell, Gerald and Lawrence Durrell, Ian McEwan, C P Snow, William Boyd, Brian Moore, Arthur Ransome, William Golding, Victor Canning, John Masters, Allan Mallinson, Gerald Seymour, Pat Barker, Donna Leon, Olivia Manning, Colm Toibin and Robert Harris.
