A window advertising card for the book published by Raphael Tuck and Sons. Separately published, the folio size chromolithograph utilizes the image for the decorated title page - the young couple in an embrace under a medieval arch, a banner above them with "Verona, Anno 1303". Here, Juliet is painted with long streaming blonde hair, in a pale blue gown. The artists' names on a decorative plinth below, the title printed in red at the right. The illustrations in the book are after paintings by Ludovic Marchetti, Lucius Rossi, and Oreste Cortazzo. Printed by the Fine Art Works in London, on heavy card stock. 10 x 13 3/4".
