Arabs and dhows by the waters edge. Narrow and very faint scratch to the paper surface, about 6cm long. A few foxing spots. In original gold painted bevelled mount (a skill not much found today). Signed lower right. Framed, not glazed. Written title and attribution on a Dore Galleries of Bond Street label, pasted to rear. Painting 34cm by 24cm, frame size 61cm by 52cm. Must date from the end of the 19th Century as Engleheart was a Lt. Colonel by the beginning of the 20th Century. Atmospheric, and looks impressive in its large golden mount; like looking out of a window. Codice articolo 007530
