First edition with sixteen full page engravings in outline by Henry Mo ses From the Designs of Moritz Retzsch. Translated by J.P. Collins. Bo und in brown leather with gold stamped decorations, borders and letter ing. All edges gilt. Oblong, 13" x 9 1/2", 55 pages. Fair to Good con dition. The leather has rubbing along its edges and heavy rubbing at t he corners. The spine has been totally covered with black cloth book t ape. Interior hinges are tender, a few pages and plates have shaken lo ose from the sewing, one of the loose plates has small tears in the ma rgins. Some scattered finger soling and dust through-out.
