1st Edition 1962. Island is a 1962 novel by English writer Aldous Huxley, the author's final work before his death in 1963. It is the account of Will Farnaby, a cynical journalist who is shipwrecked on the fictional island of Pala. Island is Huxley's utopian counterpart to his most famous work, the 1932 dystopian novel Brave New World. Book is very good++ and bright. Contents good. All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive. We recommend to all our customers to use the priority shipping as this is a much quicker and secure method of shipment.
All books where possible will be sent in wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
