Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám | Maurice Greiffenhagen Illustrated Edition

Omar Khayyám (18 May 1048 - 4 December 1131) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet. [Rendered into English Verse by Edward FitzGerald (31 March 1809 - 14 June 1883)]. Illustrated by Maurice Greiffenhagen RA (15 December 1862 - 26 December 1931) was a British painter and Royal Academician. He illustrated books and designed posters as well as painting idyllic landscapes.

Rubáiyát over 55 pages (+ notes) carrying the 75 quatrains of Edward FitzGerald's version enriched with 4 mounted and tipped-in colour illustrations by Maurice Greiffenhagen, illustrated border to each sheet.
