Panel edges somewhat dulled and rubed, with some surface scuffs and scratches. Provenance: From the library of William Sterling Maxwell with his armorial bookplate to front pastedown. This coat of arms is also blind-stamped to the front panel. Scattered foxing around prelims., with slight marginal yellowing evident. Remains particularly and surprisingly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong.
