Aggiungi al carrellohardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Near Fine. Sixth Morpheus Printing. SIXTH MORPHEUS PRINTING, 1999. Hardcover. Bound in textured black publisher's cloth with silver foil lettering on the cover and spine. Leaves are a glossy paper. Heavily illustrated throughout with artwork images in color. 93 pp. Dust jacket is also illustrated in color. FROM THE TITLE PAGE: "'Necronomicon,' denoting masks of names of death, was a book written by a madman, Abduhl al Azred, who lived in Yemen seven centuries after the birth of Christ. Following a tortuous journey to the ruins of Babylon and the secret temple at Memphis, al Azred began worshipping the dark gods, 'Cthiullu' and 'Yoxodo,' and performing black magic. He was said to have lived for ten years in Belet el Jin, know as the forbidden city of the Devil. In the 'Necronomicon,' al Azred dubbed it the 'City of Evil.' He performed his rituals there and became familiar with evil spirits. It was in the ;City of Evil; that he discovered obscure, frightful mysteries about a prehistoric race order than mankind itself. In 738 A.D., Abdhul al Azred died a horrible death. Witnesses reported that, in the broad daylight of central Sannah, he was torn to pieces by invisible claws." CONDITION: Overall near fine. Some very minor creasing within the first several pages. Dust jacket shows rubbing and some minor wear at the head, including two, 1" closed tears at the back, also at the head. An intriguing copy. Images are vivid, dark and shocking. Not appropriate for children; discretion is advised. At almost 4 lbs., due to this book's size and weight, an additional shipping charge may apply. Full refund if not satisfied.
