In all, a very good copy of the first Italian edition. A massive compendium discussing and debunking numerous superstitions, many of them relating to medical quackery, "miracle cures, and various old-wives' tales, with particular attention to dowsing. It went through numerous editions, in several languages. This Italian translation was by Zannino Marsecco.
