The Porcelain Museum of Palazzo Pitti, inaugurated in 1973, contains one of the most important porcelain collections in Europe, with over 2000 pieces from various European countries, which tell the history and vicissitudes of Florence and its rulers. This catalogue, the latest in a series dedicated to the Museum's collections, examines the significant corpus of Viennese provenance. The more than one hundred and thirty pieces, many of which are of considerable beauty, are examined by cards and reproduced thanks to a special and accurate photographic campaign. To the texts of Sheila Tabakoff - an authority in the field of German porcelain of the eighteenth century - is added that of Marilena Mosco, director of the Museum. Text in English and Italian.
