Pages clean except for a dark felt-tip mark on the bottom edge, a small patch of inky specks on the final free endpaper, and light age toning throughout; binding leans to the right and is somewhat shaken at the hinges, but remains secure; brown hard cover bears a diagonal flexion through the lower front, a shallow tap at the bottom rear edge, some softening and rubbing at the spine ends and lower free corners, fading along the spine with dimming of the gold titles, and a few small, shallow surface scuffs front and back, otherwise sound. 160pp. The original dustjacket is absent, but a similar-looking, color-copy-weight jacket has been added; clean and free from wear, it looks attractive in a clear plastic sleeve.
