Prima edizione di quest'opera economica, convenzionalmente attribuita a Carlo Bartolomeo Piazza sull'ipotesi avanzata a suo tempo dal Melzi (II, p.189). Questa vecchia attribuzione è stata però recentemente messa in discussione da M. Fattica (La reclusione dei poveri a Roma, durante il pontificato di Innocenzo XII (1672-1700), in "Ricerche per la Storia Religiosa di Roma", Roma 1979, p. 116) e da Fiorani (Religione e povertà. Il dibattito sul pauperismo a Roma tra Cinque e Seicento, ibidem, p. 55); il primo ritenendo il testo derivato da "La Mendicité abolie", il secondo stabilendo esserne diretto autore lo stesso Andres Guevarre. Questa vecchia attribuzione è stata però recentemente messa in discussione da M.
