Sovraccoperta illustrata e con risvolti incollati ai retro piatti della copertina, residuo di etichetta al risvolto posteriore, pagine leggermente ingiallite ai bordi. Quando il 30 luglio 1970 il marchese Camillo Casati Stampa di Soncino, appartenente a una delle più conosciute e prestigiose famiglie della nobiltà milanese, uccise a fucilate la moglie e il giovane ritenuto suo amante e a sua volta si uccise, le cronache dell'epoca impazzarono e impazzirono, soprattutto quando si venne a conoscenza dei giochi erotici del marchese che si dilettava a organizzare gli incontri sessuali della moglie con degli sconosciuti e ad assistervi. Lo scandalo Casati rappresentò il primo autentico e clamoroso scandalo sessuale in un periodo in cui in Italia si stava facendo timidamente avanti quella che fu poi definita la rivoluzione sessuale, che già aveva interessato numerosi altri paesi. Le notizie riguardanti il ménage familiare dei marchesi, corredate da foto lettere e diari, la maggior parte di quest'ultimi falsi, influenzarono, sollecitarono e scatenarono le fantasie represse di tantissimi uomini e donne di diverse età. "Un'esibizionista ninfomane" e "un pervertito guardone" furono alcune delle definizioni che drasticamente penalizzarono Anna e Camillo, marchesi Stampa di Soncino, i quali, di comune accordo, infransero i canoni imperanti della comune morale borghese dei loro tempi.
